At MK14 Components and Automotive Sporting Heritage, we believe that preservation is the priority over modern replacements, should original parts not be available.

On receipt of the vehicle or parts thereof, the initial assessment is done after dismantling, and each part is assessed for its viability of re-use with mechanical assessment undertaken in consideration of its original specification to ensure its mechanical performance.  The overriding principal is preserve anything original, reconfigure anything authentic and remake and/or replace anything that is not original or adequate n todays world of driving.  This includes detailed discussion on each project with regards to useability upgrades that can be recommended which maintain the fundamentals of the car and part design but utilise improvements possible today through material and technology advancement.  Each stage and any possible change is discussed, in detail with the client before it is initiated.
